Pogácsa is best enjoyed fresh on the day it’s baked, when its texture is soft and slightly crunchy. While it can be eaten for up to one week, it gradually loses its freshness and becomes less tender. To maintain its softness, avoid storing it in plastic containers, which can cause it to dry out.
